The Process of change . . . Creating a Shift

When I lost my job,  I had been out of work for at least three months and still had no idea of way to turn.  I was kind of at a loss, when I realized that in order to get something different, I had to do something different.  I didn't know how to get where I wanted, but I did know that I had to expand my way of thinking.  It was around this time that my friend introduced me to Streaming Media, where I learned so many things by people who had experience in other areas and they peeked my interest.  There are two things necessary to create a mindset shift.

1.  You have to have an open mind and be willing to think outside of the box-  As I mentioned before, you must be willing to do something different.  The thing that you choose may be something that has never been done before or something that you could never imagine, but no one has ever succeeded by by playing if safe or not taking chances.  Take risks!

2.  You have to develop a positive mindset-  After 3 months of not having a job and 12 more months of having a mediocre job, I had to still be strong while holding to my convictions in a positive manner.  My pastor says that "a positive attitude attracts things like a magnet".  I'm not sure about you, but I like the idea of attracting good things to me after I put out good vibes.

I'm not telling you that every day will be sunny, but there will still be sun after the rain.  Continue to lift your head up even when you have to use an umbrella to shield yourself from the weather of life.  Not only will it start to draw things to you, but your possibilities will start to expand to create the optimal result.
