You have permission . . .
Listening this Women's Conference, I am arrested by the words because they give me confirmation. Just the week before I was listening Lisa Nichols and she said some similar things, so they were beginning to resonate with me as I sit and listened. So many times we live beneath our potential, not because of what we lack, but because of what we do have inside. Early on in life I remember being fearful to move. I was supposed to move out of state, but in my head I was too busy thinking of the "what ifs". You know, "what if I fail" "what if I don't like it" "what if I don't know anyone there"; however I didn't think about the other half of the equation, "what if I succeed" "what if I like it" "what if I gain a friend for life". I scared myself straight out of blessings and didn't even know it! So in the mean time I decide to alter my destiny.
At the conference today, it was said that " in order to see ourselves as having more, we have to see the right perspective of ourselves". I always allowed myself to see the potential in others, but failed to allow myself see it in me! Today I was reminded that I am worth it, and I want to remind you that you are too! I am definitely not saying, don't give to others; but make sure that you have what you need as well. Give yourself permission to write your vision, to plan your path and to demand your destiny. Allow yourself the time to fully develop in a safe space. During this time, you may need to have some quiet time- no one can operate in chaos. Doing your part will take obedience, sacrifice and courage; but it will be well worth it because what you give up will be in short comparison of things that you will gain.
Keep the faith
